CDL Training Classes

At 5 Star CDL Academy our training class is designed to take students from permit to licensed commercial driver through hands-on yard practice, road training, and classroom instruction.

At 5 Star CDL Academy, students must be at least 18 years old to obtain a CDL for transporting property within the state of Indiana. Students who plan to transport passengers, add CDL endorsements, or operate commercial vehicles outside the state of Indiana must be at least 21 years old.

New Class A CDL drivers can earn approximately $50,000–$70,000 in their first year, with opportunities for increased earning potential as they gain experience and endorsements.
